Huawei put a lot of resources into making the Mate series noticeable, and the standing ovations it received prove it. After the Ascend Mate 7 made a good impression, it’s time for the Mate 8 to step into the ring, on Nov. 26.
Huawei Mate 8 already appeared in a couple of leaked images, and soon enough its specs began to surface as well, but the latest images really put the spotlight on the Chinese manufacturer’s latest smartphone. Instead of leaking screenshots or some poor-quality images, the source chose to post a number of press renders that give a good look at the new Huawei handset.
The renders are consistent with the previous leaks. The Huawei Mate 8 comes in a chic and resistant looking unibody design, a trend followed by most OEMs with their high-end phones. The back of the Mate 8 features the main camera, which has a dual-LED flash. Under the camera a fingerprint sensor is installed, and way lower you can see the manufacturer’s logo.
