Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) held its autumn event on Tuesday evening in San Francisco, where it announced a number of new products to add to the Google family. Earlier, Google was tipped to unveil five products at the event, and the company has not disappointed. It unveiled two new smartphones – the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P. The Android Marshmallow was unveiled along with new Chromecast devices, and the Pixel C, which draws inspiration from the Google Chromebook, also made its debut. Here is the rundown:
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The latest Google mobile operating system (OS) made its debut at the San Francisco event. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS will initially start out on latest Nexus smartphones, but will be available on Nexus Player, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, and Nexus 9 smartphones from next week onward.
